Dear Members,

            I would like to invite you to join Law Students' Forum, LSF. Law Students' Forum is dedicated to the law students of the Jammu and Kashmir state. Our initiative is to help the deprived people of the state by providing them free Legal Aid and Education.

            Law Students Forum (LSF) is bound by its Aims and Objectives which are mentioned below:-

 

Aim and Objectives:

 

 

·         The main aims and objectives:

1.       To organize debates and seminars at inter-College level.

2.       To organize Moot Courts and Essay writing Competitions.

3.       To organise Legal Aid and Legal awareness programmes.

4.       To organize socio-cultural programs.

5.       To develop case pleadings and Advocates Behavior.

6.       To uphold Fundamental Rights and Duties.

7.       To work  for the protection of Environmental Rights, Human and Consumer Rights.

8.       To address the grievances of the Law students.

 

·         Secondary Areas of interest:

 

1         To organize discussion groups, conferences and community meetings to promote its goal.

 

2         To start LSF units at various institutions.

 

3         To raise a voice against injustice in terms of Corruption, White Collar Crime, Sexual Harassment at workplaces, inactive role played by Police in tackling crime.

 

4         To speed up the process of investigation by indulging latest technologies like DNA Analysis, Fingure print tests, Citizens Electronic Identity Card, Eye Contact Cameras.

 

5         To help poor people to get legal Aid in order to seek justice in the Court of Law.

 

6         To make people aware about their role in eradicating crime and make them aware about their conscience to raise the voice for personal liberty and crimeless society.

 

7         To enhance the role played by various organisation in the upliftment of prisoners presiding in various jails of the state and to ask for their right to live with honour and respectability.

 

8         To enhance the participation of women folk and to improve the status of women in a society.
